Welcome to RateMyUnits

RateMyUnits is a free platform for students to anonymously share and read reviews of university units. By using this site, you agree to these simple terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post any changes here, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updates.

Submitting Reviews

No accounts needed! Reviews are submitted anonymously. When you submit a review:

• You must have actually taken the unit you're reviewing
• Your review should be honest and based on your real experience
• Don't submit multiple reviews for the same unit
• Be respectful - no personal attacks or harassment
• Don't post spam or fake reviews

Once submitted, reviews become part of the public database. We moderate all reviews before publishing them. We can reject, edit, or remove any review that breaks these rules.

We may ask you to verify you took the unit (student ID, transcript, or uni email). If you can't verify, we'll reject the review.

What You Can't Do

Don't:

• Post fake or paid reviews
• Harass instructors or other students
• Use bots or scrapers
• Try to hack or break the site
• Copy our website design or code
• Spam or manipulate ratings

If you violate these rules, we'll block your IP address or email domain.

The Important Stuff (Please Read!)

Reviews Are Just Opinions

All reviews are personal opinions from individual students. We try to moderate for fake reviews, but we can't guarantee every review is accurate. Use reviews as a guide, not gospel. Your experience might be totally different!

We're Not Responsible For Your Grades

Don't blame us if you pick a unit based on reviews and it doesn't go well. You make your own enrollment decisions. We're just providing a platform for students to share opinions.

Site Might Go Down Sometimes

The site is provided "as is" - we don't guarantee it'll always work perfectly or be available 24/7. We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly!
